Here are the top three stories in St. Louis today:

  1. The Back to School Store, hosted by the National Council of Jewish Women, opened in St. Louis on Sunday. This was the third year that the store was operated using a contact-less model. 2,000 backpacks filled with school supplies were distributed at Congregation Temple Israel. Over 400 volunteers participated in the event. Haircut coupons were also distributed along with winter coats, dental products, hair products, and hats. (KTVI Fox 2 St. Louis)
  2. St. Louis will be hosting the LEGO Fan Festival on Saturday and Sunday. The two-day event will be at the Kennedy Recreation Center featuring over 40 life-sized landmarks built using LEGOs. There will also be custom trains, paintings, castles, and cityscapes. This is the third time the popular fan event has been hosted in St. Louis. (KTVI Fox 2 St. Louis)
  3. The International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers District 837 has halted its St. Louis-area strike after Boeing presented a modified contract offer. The modified contract was presented on Friday after a mediation session between the union and the company. The union will vote on the new contract on Wednesday. (KSDK 5 On Your Side)
