🌱 St. Louis Delivery Drivers Robbed + CSMB Students Return To School

Here are the top three stories today in St. Louis:

  1. Last month, a deadly school shooting occurred at Central Visual and Performing Arts High School (CVPA), leaving three people killed and many others injured. Today, students at the Collegiate School of Medicine and Bioscience (CSMB) will return to in-person learning after a month of virtual learning. CSMB shares a building with CVPA; plans for the return of CVPA students are still in the works, according to the school's leadership. (KTVI Fox 2 St. Louis)
  2. Two St. Louis delivery drivers were robbed over the last two weeks. An Uber Eats driver had his car stolen on Nov. 23 while making a delivery. Officials say he was held up at gunpoint and had to hand over his keys. On Nov. 25, a pizza delivery driver was robbed by an armed man demanding money and free pizza. No arrests have been made and police are continuing to investigate. (KTVI Fox 2 St. Louis)
  3. Gateway180, a St. Louis nonprofit, received a million-dollar grant to help the homeless. The nonprofit organization provides emergency shelter and housing assistance in St. Louis. It received a $1.25 million grant from the Bezos Day 1 Families Fund, sponsored by Amazon founder Jeff Bezos. Gateway180 representatives hope to use the money to help families with down payments, financial assistance, and addressing addiction. (KMOV4)
