St. Louis Election Results Rundown

Here are all the candidates and ballot measures that won in St. Louis City and County.

ST. LOUIS, MO — A year after the election that ushered Donald Trump to the White House, voters again went to the polls across the country. Democrats won decisively in the Virginia and New Jersey governor's races and swept most other contested races across the country, including mayoral contests in Charlotte, N.C. and St. Petersburg, Fla. Voters also voted in Maine to expand Medicaid coverage, defying that state's Republican leadership. It's the beginning of what Democrats say is a building "blue wave" and Republicans hope is just a fluke.

Here's what happened closer to home.

City of St. Louis

Proposition P passed with 59.8 percent of the vote and Democrat Lisa Middlebrook beat out Independent Jamine Turnage and Green Party candidate Elston McCowan to become alderman of the second ward. She won 49.7 percent of the vote.
