St. Louis Man Falls From Cliff And Dies In Arizona

ST. LOUIS, MO — Mark Daus, a 54-year-old St. Louis man fell from a cliff and died last week in Phoenix, Arizona, the Post-Dispatch reports. Officials said Daus fell from Camelback Mountain during a hike.

According to the Post-Dispatch, he had been visiting his daughter who was playing in a soccer tournament. The paper said his wife grew worried when she couldn't reach him and authorities began to search on foot and by helicopter.

An official with the Phoenix fire department confirmed to the Post-Dispatch that Daus' body had been found at the bottom of a ravine.
