St. Louis Man Takes 45-Year Plea Deal For Two 2016 Murders
In exchange for accepting a plea deal, prosecutors agreed to reduce the charges to second-degree murder.

ST. LOUIS, MO — Twenty-one-year-old Miquis Crumble pleaded guilty to two counts of second-degree murder Tuesday as part of a deal with St. Louis prosecutors, the Post-Dispatch reports. Crumble had been accused of, and has now admitted to, fatally shooting 41-year-old Huston Martin and 38-year-old Cory Goodwin at Martin's Chouteau Avenue apartment two years ago. Prosecutors say Crumble also admitted to shooting Martin's brother, who survived.
In exchange for accepting a plea deal, prosecutors agreed to reduce the charges to second-degree murder. He was still sentenced to 45 years in prison.
Martin's brother, Clinton, who lay bleeding for almost 20 hours after the shooting with gunshot wounds to his hand, face and chest, told the paper he was prepared to testify against Crumble, but was relieved that he now wouldn't have to.
