St. Louis Police Ask For Help With Murder Investigation

ST. LOUIS, MO — Police say they responded to a call at the Grand Motel on North Grand Blvd. Oct. 15 and found Lovecia Jones, a 31-year-old St. Peters woman, lying in the parking lot with multiple gunshot wounds. She was taken to a hospital where she later died. Witnesses say a black man in a red hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans was seen arguing with Jones prior to her shooting.

Friends of Jones said she had just started her own cleaning business and was always cheerful and full of life.

If you have information on Jones' shooting, you might be eligible for a $5,000 reward upon the arrest of a suspect.
