St. Louis Veterans Day Parade And 5K: Saturday, Nov. 11, 2017
The City of St. Louis will hold its annual Veterans Day parade and 5K run this Saturday.

ST. LOUIS, MO — The City of St. Louis will hold its annual Veterans Day parade and 5K run at noon this Saturday. It will begin at the Soldiers Memorial at the intersection of 14th and Market streets and will continue west on Market, north on 18th, west on Locust, north on 22nd, east on Washington, north on 18th, east on MLK, south in the right lane of Tucker, west on Delmar, south on 16th west on Washington, south on 18th, and finally east on Market to finish back at 14th Street.
Parade assembly will begin at 9 a.m. between Tucker and Jefferson streets, which will be closed for the duration of the parade. A 5K run, sponsored by Fleet Feet Sports, will also begin at 9 a.m. The event will feature a timed 5-kilometer race, a free kid's dash and one-mile fun run, as well as refreshments, face-painting, and a photo booth. Walkers and pets are welcome, the organizers say.
Registration is $30 in advance or $35 on race day. The parade is free. An awards ceremony will take place after the run, followed by a Veterans Day ceremony at 10:30 a.m. Find more information on the 5K or learn more about parade-day road closures and traffic restrictions.
