Stacked Burger Bar Tops TripAdvisor's List For Best Burgers In MO

ST. LOUIS, MO — USA Today reports the travel and restaurant website TripAdvisor has released its list of the best burgers in every state, and one St. Louis burger joint dominated the site's reviews.

Stacked Burger Bar came in number one for the best burger in Missouri. Offering grass-fed beef, specialty cocktails and deserts to die for, Stacked not only came in first place for burgers but number four for the best restaurant in St. Louis in any category.

Last month we reviewed some of the best burgers in St. Louis for Independence Day. Stacked made our list too. Here's what we said about them then:

Try one of the everyday staples like The Wet Nap, a ground chuck patty smothered with barbecue sauce, house-made three cheese sauce and crispy onions; the Bella Bleus, with blue cheese crumbles, a mushroom medley and spring mix with honey-thyme balsamic glaze; or The Dictator, a ground chuck burger with spicy beer mustard, sauerkraut and a bratwurst on a pretzel bun.

Bailey's Range, Dressel's Public House, Layla and Sub Zero Vodka Bar were the other places on our list. They're all worth checking out.

Or, if you feel like a road trip, you could sample surrounding state's best burgers. In Illinois, Farren's Pub & Eatery in Champaign topped TripAdvisor's list. Here are the others:

  • Iowa: Shorts Burger & Shine (Iowa City)
  • Kansas: Big Bam's Burger's in (Shawnee)
  • Kentucky: Mad Mike's Burgers and Fries (Newport)
  • Oklahoma: Nic's Grill (Oklahoma City)
  • Tennessee: Burger Republic (Nashville)
