  1. Steve's Hot Dogs was the site of an unsuccessful break-in early Friday morning. The incident occurred around 3:18 a.m. at the storefront on South Grand Boulevard, where surveillance video showed three men entering the store in search of cash. The store's employees had locked all valuables away, and officials say the thieves left empty-handed. (Press Release Desk)
  2. Elaine Cha has been named the new host of St. Louis on the Air after an intensive search process by St. Louis Public Radio. Cha brings more than a decade of journalism experience to the role and most recently served as the senior manager for external communications at Big Brothers Big Sisters of Eastern Missouri. St. Louis on the Air will return from its broadcast break on Oct. 24, and Cha will begin at the helm on Nov. 7. (St. Louis Public Radio)
