STL County Police Play Cowboy After Horses Escape Near School
Larimore Elementary was briefly placed on lockdown as a precaution until police could wrangle the horses back to their nearby ranch.

ST. LOUIS, MO — Several St. Louis County Police Officers got to play cowboy Tuesday afternoon after some escaped horses briefly put Larimore Elementary in the Hazelwood School District on lockdown.
The horses had broken free from a nearby ranch where they are used for Civil War reenactments and therapy rides, KMOV reports. After the horses made their way onto school property, officials asked students and staff to remain in their classrooms as a precaution.
