- St. Louis has been named the best city for urban gardening in a new report from landscaping company Lawnstarter. The study evaluated dozens of cities on various factors including accessibility of gardening spaces and supplies, climate, and the local gardening community. Cincinnati, Ohio and Atlanta, Georgia trailed close behind St. Louis in second and third places respectively. (The Edwardsville Intelligencer)
- The St. Louis Art Museum will debut a new installation tomorrow featuring the work of self-taught, African American artist Helen LaFrance. The exhibit will highlight works that convey LaFrance's individual memories and emotional experiences, including "Marching Band" and "Church Picnic."
