- A new study has named St. Louis the most affordable metropolitan area for rent in the United States. The report, released by real estate data company Clever, found the city is one of only four metropolitan areas nationwide where the rent-to-income ratio is lower than the national median. According to the report, the average monthly rate for a one-bedroom apartment in St. Louis is currently $745. (KTVI Fox 2 St. Louis)
- A new hotel has opened in the historic Shell building in downtown St. Louis. The Shell building sat vacant for nearly a decade before the new Home2 Suites and Tru Hotel by Hilton moved into the property. With the addition of the new hotel, there are now more than 7,700 hotel rooms located in the urban core of St. Louis. (KMOV4)
