Here are the top three stories in St. Louis today:

  1. While the retail industry has changed a lot in the past few years, Black Friday sales throughout St. Louis are still going strong. Some stores are offering deep discounts throughout the rest of the month to entice consumers. That being said, a large number of St. Louis locals have opted to do their Black Friday shopping online. This is a big boost for small businesses, besides cutting down on those infamous Black Friday crowds. (Subscription: St. Louis Post-Dispatch)
  2. In a special Thanksgiving episode of "The Masked Singer," viewers got to see the unmasking of beloved St. Louis local Nikki Glaser. Glaser had been performing as the character 'Snowstorm.' In honor of Thanksgiving, the contestants also spoke about what they were grateful for. This is the eighth season of the popular show. (Subscription: St. Louis Post-Dispatch)
  3. A group of St. Louis volunteers helped Metro St. Louis families have a happy Thanksgiving. People struggling with food insecurity were able to enjoy meals thanks to the efforts of the St. Phillips Church. The event also welcomed those with no families to come celebrate and enjoy the spirit of giving. A total of 159 people in 76 different households throughout the area were fed throughout the day.
