- The Cardinal Glennon Sun Run will return on Sunday, Oct. 16. The run is meant to raise funds for St. Louis children. Participants can run in either the 5K or walk in the one-mile course. All participants will receive a T-shirt and sunglasses. Click to register for the race. (KTVI Fox 2 St. Louis)
- The St. Louis Board of Alderman has introduced a new bill to establish the St. Louis Reproductive Equity Fund. The bill allocates $3.5 million to fund COVID care, pregnancy care providers, and logistical access to abortion. The funds are coming from the city's American Rescue Plan Act funding. - The revised plan for Optimist International's headquarters building is receiving pushback from St. Louis City staff. The proposed plan would build an apartment complex at the site. The revised plan will reportedly preserve the building's facade, but that does not seem like enough to the city's staff. (The Business Journals)
