- A St. Louis teenager secured more than $1 million in scholarship offers from multiple universities this year. Mya Grimes is currently a senior at Metro Academic and Classical High School. She has committed to attend Jackson State University in the fall and will be a jumper on the college's track and field team. (KTVI Fox 2 St. Louis)
- The Metro St. Louis Heart Walk is set to return in person next month. The event, sponsored by the American Heart Association, will take place at Busch Stadium on Saturday, May 21, at 9:00 a.m. So far, organizers have raised over $500,000 to support heart health. (KTVI Fox 2 St. Louis)
- The St. Louis Recreation Division is holding a series of open house days this week for parents to learn more about the city's free summer camp offerings. Families can stop by the Wohl Recreation Center or Buder Recreation Center today to preview camp activities and meet recreation center staff.
