Here are the top stories in St. Louis today:

  1. An investigation is underway after a 17-year-old boy was shot in St. Louis near Fairground Park. The boy told police he was walking through the area when he suddenly hear gunshots and felt pain. The incident occurred at around 10:35 p.m., where St. Louis police were called to the 4200 block of Kossuth Avenue for a shooting. This is in St. Louis’ O’Fallon neighborhood near Fairground Park. He was taken to the hospital but did not provide further details. (KSDK.com)
  2. A robber allegedly held a couple at gunpoint after climbing through their St. Louis apartment window. According to police, the suspect broke a window to the victims’ apartment in the 400 block of N. Vandeventer Ave. and climbed through shortly after 11 p.m. He took money, electronics and a wallet from the couple before taking off. No one was injured. (KMOV.com)
  3. The Saint Louis Zoo has vaccinated its first animal, a male chimpanzee, against COVID-19 and they plan to administer the two-dose vaccine to about 100 other animals. (KMOV.com)
