Teenagers Shot Near Fairground Park In North Saint Louis

A 16-year-old boy was shot in the head, and a 14-year-old boy was shot in the leg. Contact Crimestoppers if you have any information.

ST. LOUIS, MO — Police are investigating a multiple shooting near Fairground Park in north St. Louis Thursday night. A 16-year-old boy was shot in the head near the 3200 block of Barrett Street to the southeast of the park around 9 p.m., police said. When officers found him, he was unconscious but breathing. He survived the shooting and is in critical condition at a nearby hospital.

Minutes later, a 14-year-old boy was found shot in the leg in the 4300 block of Warne Ave. to the park's northeast. Police believe that both teens were injured in the same shooting on Barrett Street. No arrests have been made and no further details have been released.
