  1. Three St. Louis-area teenagers have been charged with mail theft after allegedly stealing mail from U.S. Postal Service collection boxes. Prosecutors say a fourth teen suspect attempted to bribe letter carriers for a master key to unlock additional collection boxes. Authorities say the bribery attempt was unsuccessful but have not yet confirmed whether the four teenage suspects were working together. (St. Louis Post-Dispatch)
  2. Amtrak will temporarily suspend two trains on the Missouri River Runner line beginning next Monday, Oct. 24. The 311 and 316 trains that run between St. Louis and Kansas City will pause operation through Nov. 17 due to an equipment shortage. Amtrak's 318 and 319 trains will continue to run as scheduled during this time. (KJLU)
  3. A new team virtual reality experience is slated to open at the City Foundry in St. Louis next month. Sandbox VR will feature four private holodecks, each hosting up to six guests for virtual adventures that range from high-stakes zombie missions to a family-friendly StarTrek space experience. The cutting-edge attraction is scheduled to open on Nov. 4. (The Edwardsville Intelligencer)
