Triple Shooting At Wells-Goodfellow Apartment Complex, 1 Dead

ST. LOUIS, MO — Police are investigating a triple shooting at an apartment complex in the north city's Wells-Goodfellow neighborhood Sunday afternoon. The Post-Dispatch reports the shooting happened around 3:40 p.m. One man was shot in the chest and later died, police said. Another man was shot in the shoulder and is expected to survive. A third man was also shot. The extent of his injuries isn't clear.

Witnesses say at least one assault rifle may have been used in the shooting. It was recovered from the scene. Police haven't released any additional information.

Two women were also shot in separate shootings in south St. Louis Sunday. One woman was shot on her front lawn in the Gravois neighborhood Sunday afternoon. A second woman was shot on her front porch in DutchtownSunday night.
