ST. LOUIS, MO — Two children and a man in his 20s were shot in two separate incidents across the St. Louis area Thursday night, the Post-Dispatch reports. The shootings happened within half an hour of each other, one around 7 p.m. in Moline Acres in north St. Louis County, the other just after 7:30 p.m. on North Kingshighway in north St. Louis City, just south of Penrose Park.
In the first shooting, an 8-year-old girl was grazed by a bullet, police said, which struck her leg. The girl was at her aunt's house when someone drove by and fired half a dozen shots into the home, one of which ricocheted and hit her. She is in stable condition.
Police said the shooter or shooters were in a white, four-door sedan being driven by a woman, with a man in the front passenger seat and another in the rear.
