Two Men Attacked With Baseball Bat In North Saint Louis
One man allegedly held the victims at gunpoint while another beat them with an aluminum baseball bat.

ST. LOUIS, MO — A 29-year-old man is in critical condition after being attacked with a baseball bat early Sunday morning. A second 36-year-old man is in stable condition.
The attack occurred around 4 a.m. Sunday in the 1100 block of Hodiamont Avenue in the West End neighborhood of the north city. According to police, the victims knew their attacker with the three involved in an ongoing dispute. While the attacker beat his victims with the bat, a fourth man pointed a gun at the victims to prevent them from fleeing.
One person is in custody related to the attack — the man authorities believe held the victims at gunpoint. Police are still looking for the attacker.
