Two Murdered On Christmas Day

Ferguson police are investigating two murders that occurred Christmas Day.

FERGUSON, MO — A teenager was found dead in a snowy Ferguson street shortly before 6 a.m. Christmas day. He had been shot in the chest, police say, but they found no evidence he had been shot at the scene. They are investigating whether he was killed elsewhere and dropped off in Ferguson. Police have not released the teenager's identity or a possible motive.

A second shooting left one dead around 11:15 p.m. in a West Florissant subdivision less than a mile from the first shooting. Police say the second victim knew his shooter and the two had been arguing prior to the killing. Police are looking for that shooter, but have not released further details.
