Here are the top three stories today in St. Louis:
- Two St. Louis area Starbucks locations are the newest coffee shops to unionize. The first location in Ladue unionized with a 12-3 vote. The second location at Kingshighway and Chippewa unionized on a 9-4 vote. They are now part of Workers United. (Riverfront Times)
- Blood drive donors will be able to collect Cardinals' gear. The St. Louis Cardinals baseball organization is hosting its 19th annual blood drive this week at 22 different locations throughout the region. The drive will conclude tomorrow. Each donor will receive a free limited-edition Cardinals shirt and passes for a Cardinals ticket - while supplies last. (KTVI Fox 2 St. Louis)
- The St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department has arrested a 19-year-old man for allegedly killing a man outside of a fast-food restaurant. Terrance King has been charged with first-degree murder and armed criminal action for the incident that occurred on Jun. 7 in the 1400 block of Hampton Avenue. Both the suspect and the victim worked together at the restaurant. (KTVI Fox 2 St. Louis)
