Two STL Co. Drivers Report Bowling Balls Thrown At Their Cars

One driver said she believes the man who threw the bowling ball was trying to get her to pull over so he could carjack her.

ST. LOUIS, MO — At least two drivers in St. Louis County say their cars have been hit by bowling balls in recent weeks, Fox 2 reports. One of those drivers, Teresa Seavey, told the television station that she was driving on Tesson Ferry Road near interstate 270 last week when a man standing in the middle of the road rolled a bowling ball at her car.

The bowling ball struck Seavey's car, damaging the underside. She believes the man wanted to force her to pull over so that he could steal her car.

In June, a man reported that he was traveling south on Interstate 55 near Mattis Road when someone threw a bowling ball out of a car with North Carolina license plates. The bowling ball shattered his window, lacerating his arm.
