- The City of St. Louis is launching a Parks, Recreation, and Forestry job fair series across the city through March into April and May. - A 27-year-old man attempted to carjack a marked St. Louis police SUV early Saturday morning south of downtown St. Louis. Officers were responding to a shots-fired call at Chouteau Avenue and South 7th Street when the man stepped in front of the moving SUV. When the SUV was stopped near the intersection, the suspect went to the side of the vehicle and pointed a gun at the officers, but ran away when he discovered it was a police vehicle. He was later taken into custody in a parking lot while police were responding to an "officer-in-need-of-aid" call. (KSDK.com)
