Here are the top stories today in St. Louis:
- A Las Vegas-based sports media company, VSiN, struck a deal with the St. Louis radio station, WGNU, in an effort to launch its sports betting-focused radio format. The deal involves the local station airing 24/7 sports betting news and analysis programming produced by the company. On Tuesday, WGNU 920 AM and 104.5 FM were rebranded as “The Game.” (St. Louis Business Journal)
- Police are warning drivers to stay alert, as vehicle thefts at St. Louis gas stations become more common. The new tactic involves thieves pulling up to people’s vehicles while they are distracted filling their tires up with air or refueling with gasoline, sneaking into the victim’s unlocked vehicle, and driving away. So far in 2021, there have been 17 stolen vehicles and 11 instances of stolen items at gas stations in the city’s second police district. (KTVI Fox 2 St. Louis)
- Lonnie Friarson, 46, was arrested on Wednesday for a hit-and-run that left one person dead near the 2100 block of Gravois St. (KMOV.com)

- Major League Soccer expansion franchise St. Louis City SC has detailed plans for a new four-story, 220,000-square-foot parking garage to be located along the 1900 block of Olive St., featuring electric vehicle charging stations, bike parking, an event balcony and a “pop-up retail concept” on its ground floor.
