ST. LOUIS, MO — A burning car discovered Monday morning in the 5000 block of Enright Ave., west of Kingshighway Blvd. and two blocks north of Delmar Blvd., had a woman inside. Police say she was in her 30s, but have not released her name.

Arson investigators are looking into the woman's cause of death, and believe she may have been using a hot plate to keep warm in the car overnight. The Post-Dispatch reports the woman had plugged the hot plate into a nearby garage, and that the car was parked in a yard behind a home with several other dilapidated vehicles.
