Here are the top stories today in St. Louis:

  1. St. Louis Police are searching for an Illinois man accused of pushing his girlfriend off a St. Louis hotel balcony. The girlfriend was found lying naked in an alley near the 1500 block of South Teresa after being pushed off the seventh floor of a Holiday Inn and falling to the ground. After the fall, she was allegedly thrown into a car by the suspect and dumped in the alley less than two miles away. The suspect has been identified as 29-year-old Cameron Creamer of Danville, Illinois, who is charged with kidnapping and domestic assault. (KMOV.com)
  2. A south St. Louis family was able to safely get out of their home as a fire spread early Wednesday morning. Even after they escaped, one of the teenage daughters ran back inside to get something they couldn't leave behind: her eight-year-old brother's ashes. Fire crews were called at about 1:30 a.m. to the 4700 block of Minnesota Avenue and described as "fully involved" by the flames. The crews are currently investigating the cause of the fire.   3. A St. Louis man's scheme to illegally obtain oxycodone pills has netted him more than seven years in prison. (KTVI Fox 2 St. Louis)
