Woman Shot On Front Porch In Ductchtown Sunday Night

ST. LOUIS, MO — A woman was shot near the intersection of Tennessee Avenue and Delor Street in south St. Louis' Dutchtown neighborhood Sunday night, according to police and witness reports. The shooting happened around 8:30 p.m., the Post-Dispatch reports.

Witnesses say the woman was shot while on her front porch. She was taken to a local hospital. Patch has been unable to confirm her condition, but the Post-Dispatch reports that she died.

At least one shell casing was recovered from the scene. Homicide detectives are investigating. Police have not identified any suspects or released any additional information.

Earlier Sunday, another woman was shot on her front lawn less than two miles north in the Gravois Park neighborhood.
