Woman Shot While Attending A Vigil For Shooting That Occurred The Previous Night
A woman was shot at a vigil on South Grand Blvd. Witnesses say she was the sister of a man fatally shot there the previous night.

ST. LOUIS, MO — A 28-year-old man was shot and killed at a Shell gas station on South Grand Blvd. Wednesday night. His death brings the total homicides in St. Louis this year to 160. On Thursday night, a woman was critically injured in a shooting near the same spot while attending a vigil for the previous shooting.
The St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports:
The woman was not conscious or breathing when police arrived at the scene shortly before 9 p.m. in the 3900 block of South Grand Boulevard, police said. Homicide detectives were called there to investigate.
Some witnesses said the victim was the sister of the man who had been killed the night before.
That wasn't the only shooting of the night. Another man was taken to the hospital after being shot on the city's north side.
