Four Ways to Volunteer in St. Charles This Fall
Help out at Celebrate St. Peters, Youth in Need or join the St. Charles County Medical Reserve Corps.
- Volunteer in an Early Head Start or Head Start classrooms working with infant to 5-year-olds for Youth in Need. There are locations in St. Charles, St. Louis city, Troy, Warrenton, Montgomery City and Wentzville. Volunteers help with activities such as reading to the kids, preparing for craft time, sanitizing toys, snack time and more. Sign up to learn more.
- Family Fun Fridays are a monthly opportunity for families of people with developmental disabilities to enjoy family-friendly evening activities. Volunteers help with bingo and games, arts and crafts and movie-watching. Volunteers may also assist with serving food at the concession stand. Sign up to learn more.
- Help with Celebrate St. Peters by volunteering to work the volunteer booth, help with beer sales, direct parking and more. Call 636-279-8207 to learn about opportunities or to sign up.
- The St. Charles County Medical Reserve Corps (MRC) is a volunteer-based unit formed to assist in widespread emergency response and meet the demands of a health-related crisis. MRC leaders will train dedicated volunteers in roles such as: dispensing medication, logistics, financial accountability, public communication, transportation, pet sheltering and much more.
