• Governor Kehoe Orders Flags to Fly at Half-Staff in Honor of St. Charles County Ambulance District Lieutenant Sarah McCarthy (mo.gov) — Flags across St. Charles County, including in St. Peters, will fly at half-staff on December 17 to honor Lieutenant Sarah McCarthy, a longtime paramedic with the St. Charles County Ambulance District. McCarthy fell ill while on duty at Station 12 in St. Peters and later died after complications from surgery. The governor’s order recognizes her 23 years of service and her final act as an organ donor.
