Dalton had limited driving privileges, but officers said she acknowledged shopping before being stopped, and so she was driving while her license was revoked. Her car also did not have an interlock device.
On April 3, police said Dalton again left the scene of an accident where she was at fault on St. Peters Parkway near Jungermann Road.
In all three incidents, officers said Dalton had no interlock device on the car as ordered by a St. Charles County Circuit judge, and she was driving with her license revoked. Although she had limited driving privileges, police said they did not extend to the circumstances in which Dalton was driving.
Dalton is being held in St. Charles County jail. Bail was set at $30,000 on the condition that she does not drive, does not drink and she may not enter a business in which alcohol is the primary item for sale.
