• DNP grad and cancer survivor Justin Lovelady dedicates project to increasing mental health screening in cancer patients (umsl.edu) — A new psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner will soon be seeing patients at Lifetime Psychiatry in St. Peters, bringing fresh expertise in mental health screening and cancer-related distress. Justin Lovelady, a cancer survivor and recent DNP graduate, used his own experience to improve distress screening for oncology patients and now plans to apply that evidence-based, compassionate approach with local children, adolescents, and adults.
