Rec-Plex North Ice Rink Closed For Renovations Starting February 28 In City Of St. Peters

All ice activities will move to Rec-Plex South at 5250 Mexico Road until Fall 2022.

The Rec-Plex North Ice Rink is closed starting Monday, February 28, 2022 for major updates. Work includes the installation of a new ice refrigeration system, as well as several renovated features:

  • New flooring and paint throughout the arena, warming rooms, and locker rooms
  • Replacement of all rental ice skates
  • New dasherboard system
  • Upgrades to the bleacher seating and new glass panels that will make it easier for spectators to see the ice
  • New warming room lockers and furniture
  • Additional locker room
  • New sound system and theatre lighting
  • New scoreboard with wireless technology
  • Warming room door replacement
  • New dehumidification system

All ice activities will move to Rec-Plex South at 5250 Mexico Road until Fall 2022.

  • Public Ice Skating Sessions: Pay Rec-Plex Daily Admission at the South Food Court. Skate rental is free to Rec-Plex Members, and $3.50 for the General Public.
  • Skate Academy & Figure Skating Classes: Register online at Rec-Connect and check-in at the lobby's check-in table.
  • Flex Registration: Register online at Rec-Connect and check-in at the lobby's check-in table for Freestyle, Drop-In Hockey, Instructional Hockey, and Stick & Puck.
