St. Peters Man Injured After Being Rear-Ended on Interstate 70
Terrence D. Schmidt, 49, of St. Peters, sustained minor injuries following a crash at around 5:45 p.m. on Wednesday.
A St. Peters man was injured Wednesday afternoon in a two-car crash St. Charles County.
Terrence D. Schmidt, 49, of St. Peters, sustained minor injuries after a crash at around 5:45 p.m. on Wednesday. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Schmidt was slowing down for stopped traffic on eastbound Interstate 70 at Missouri 94. A second car, a 2000 Mercury Cougar driven by 17-year-old Wentzville resident Garrett G. Beckmann.
The crash report said Beckmann failed to notice Schmidt slowing down and the front of his car struck the rear of Schmidt's.
Schmidt was taken by St. Charles Fire to St. Joseph Health Center in St. Charles with minor injuries.
Both drivers were wearing safety devices in the crash.
