The new rate includes the number of students who graduate in four years with a regular high school diploma, divided by the number of students who are in that cohort group.
New rate: (Cohort Graduates / (Total number of students in cohort-number of students who transfered out or dropped out)) x 100
Example: (202 graduates / (266-30)) x 100 = 85.6%
