It's always good to see new construction that brings new businesses to town, and construction that improves our infrastructure. But some of these projects just seem to go on and on.
- Ross Dress for Less. Okay, construction seems to be complete on the outside, anyway. So when is this store going to open?
- Fairfield Inn and Suites. Although I'm getting used to it being blue. Kind of liking it, actually. Can we keep it blue?
- CVS Pharmacy. Where else will you be able to park next to a cow while you pick up your prescription?
- Eagle Eye Gun Shop. It just keeps getting bigger and bigger. You can't even tell it used to be a Burger King anymore. Maybe they should just keep adding until it envelopes the old Belz mall? Now, that's the kind of gun shop that would put Wentzville on the map!
- Josephville Road. Okay, this is just a personal gripe, since I have to travel on it every day. But when you add pavement repairs to a road that's already frequented by bike riders and farm equipment, you have to build an extra 15 minutes into every trip. (And I wouldn't want to be late to the Ross opening!)
