• Proposed 'dog bone' intersections, other safety measures on Highway 61 aim to curb crashes in Lincoln, St. Charles counties (ksdk.com) — Highway 61 safety upgrades proposed by MoDOT could significantly change daily drives for Wentzville commuters, including a major “dog bone” intersection at Highway 61 and W. Local residents like Wentzville’s Amanda Hake say the multi-million-dollar project can’t come soon enough to reduce crashes and protect new teen drivers, though funding and construction may take years.
   

• Hunters asked to spread the bounty of their success through Share the Harvest program (mycnews.com) — Hunters in and around Wentzville can donate whole deer through Missouri’s Share the Harvest program at Josephville Meat Processing in Wentzville, helping provide high-demand venison to families in need. With Operation Food Search covering most processing costs in the St. Louis region, donating an entire deer now comes with little to no out-of-pocket expense for hunters.
