- The Bozeman Public Library is organizing Wednesday Walks throughout the summer, led by wildlife guide Ken Sinay. These weekly walks start at 5:00 p.m. from the library and explore local trails, lasting approximately 50 minutes and covering a maximum of three miles. The walks aim to introduce participants to the area's trails, wildlife, and flora, fostering community engagement and providing an opportunity for newcomers or those unfamiliar with the trail system to connect with others. - Less than a month away, Bozeman is set to bring back fireworks for a Fourth of July celebration. The City of Bozeman has partnered with local businesses, including the Armory Hotel, Murdoch's, and several banks, to fund the estimated $30,000 fireworks display at the Bozeman Softball Complex. With a recent ordinance prohibiting fireworks within city limits, the city hopes the event will draw spectators from across Bozeman to witness the 25-minute fireworks show at 10:00 p.m. on Jul. 4. (KBZK News)
- The City of Bozeman is preparing for area cleaning and requesting temporary relocation from urban campers. One of the targeted locations for cleaning is near Kenyon Noble on Oak Street. While not everyone is required to move, HRDC will provide suggestions and services for those who need to relocate, and the Bozeman Police Department will determine if campers can return. HRDC has already organized a cleanup effort with around 35 participants, resulting in the collection of three trailers and two trucks filled with trash, making a noticeable impact in the area.
