New community bike park "Bikefill" set to be built next to Snowfill dog park (kbzk.com) — Bozeman’s popular Snowfill dog park is getting a new neighbor: Bikefill, a five-mile community bike park designed for riders of all ages and abilities. Planned by GVLT, the City of Bozeman, and local bike advocates, the project is still in design and seeking public input now, with construction expected to start this spring and some features open by next fall.
   

2. Gallatin County Commission to select candidate to replace former representative Ed Stafman (kbzk.com) — South Bozeman residents will soon get a new state representative as Gallatin County commissioners choose a replacement for Ed Stafman next Tuesday. Three finalists, including the co-founder of Bozeman Tenants United, are under consideration, and locals in the district are encouraged to submit public comments since there won’t be a special election.

Photographer Captures Dramatic Helicopter Rescue Of Elk Stuck In Icy Lake (cowboystatedaily.com) — A Bozeman wildlife photographer happened to be in the right place to capture a dramatic helicopter-assisted rescue of four bull elk that fell through the ice west of town.
