  1. Late Thursday night, Jul. 6, law enforcement in Bozeman arrested a suspect involved in an attempted homicide. The Bozeman Police Department received a call regarding a man in need of medical attention on Griffin Drive, where it was discovered that the victim had been stabbed in the Ironhorse Road and Manley Road vicinity. The authorities successfully located and apprehended the suspect, who now faces charges of attempted homicide. (NBC Montana)
  2. A tragic two-vehicle crash on Highway 191 near Gallatin Gateway resulted in the death of a 50-year-old Bozeman man. The collision occurred when the man driving a GMC Yukon veered into the northbound lane, colliding head-on with a Freightliner Cascadia. The Yukon caught fire upon impact, and the driver was pronounced dead at the scene, while the Freightliner driver sustained minor injuries and was taken to Bozeman Deaconess Regional Medical Center. The crash is currently under investigation, with alcohol and speed suspected as contributing factors. (KBZK News)
  3. As the Sweet Pea Festival gears up, the Juried Art Show kicks off the festivities in July. Held at ERA Landmark Real Estate in downtown Bozeman, the art show is a competitive exhibition featuring a wide range of 2D and 3D artworks, including paintings, photography, sculptures, quilting, and glasswork. On Jul. 14, there will be a reception for the art show from 6-8 p.m., giving visitors the chance to participate by casting their votes for a people's choice winner. (Montana Right Now)
