  1. On Sunday, Jun. 18, a car traveling westbound on I-90 near East Main in Bozeman rolled multiple times, resulting in one occupant being trapped inside. Despite all occupants wearing proper seatbelts, the injured individual required extraction after fire crews stabilized the vehicle and removed the roof. The scene was eventually handed over to the Montana Highway Patrol, and Bozeman Fire issued a cautionary advisory urging cautious driving due to the accumulation of water on the roadways caused by heavy rain. 2. Amaltheia Dairy, a local farm in Bozeman, is seeking assistance after a severe storm caused significant damage and washed away their crops. Nathan Brown, a member of the Brown family who has been operating the farm for over 20 years, witnessed the storm's devastating impact, which included heavy rainfall and hail. The farm lost its cucumbers and winter squash, and the damage has affected its ability to provide employment and fulfill commitments to customers. With a goal of raising $60,000, they have already received over $44,000 in support to aid in recovery and continue operations. (NBC Montana)
  3. Montana State University (MSU) will host its first-ever Juneteenth Celebration today, Jun. 19, from 5:00-7:00 p.m. The event, organized by the MSU Office of Diversity and Inclusion, aims to honor Black excellence, American history, and the significance of Juneteenth. Attendees can expect an engaging festival featuring speakers, music, food, and live entertainment by local musicians and DJ Josh Perkins. The event seeks to build community, celebrate African American culture, and commemorate the emancipation of enslaved African Americans. (The BoZone)
