  1. Around 3,000 notices regarding past-due parking tickets were mailed out by the City of Helena last Friday. The notices apply to any unpaid tickets that have accumulated over the last three years. Anyone who receives a notice is encouraged to review the ticket information and reach out to the City of Helena Parking Division with questions. (Montana Right Now)
  2. The Montana Fish and Wildlife Commission has established new emergency fishing regulations for the Big Hole, Beaverhead, and Ruby rivers. The new regulations were adopted in response to the declining population of brown trout, which have reached near historical lows. During the spawning season, angling and harvest will be limited in some stretches of the rivers. Visit the link to view a comprehensive list of current regulations. (KBZK News)
  3. Fourteen Helena Public Schools students recently received free eye exams and glasses through an initiative hosted by Mountain Health Gives and the Helena Vision Center. The Little Peeps program offered free care to students who had been identified through vision screenings by their school nurses.
