The future of Helena is looking bright, thanks to the incredible young people working to strengthen our community. In partnership with T-Mobile, Patch is proud to spotlight future leaders like Alexa Dreyer, who are making a positive impact in and around Helena.

Alexa, a senior at Carroll College in Helena, exemplifies leadership and service through her dedication to improving the lives of others. As the president of the Carroll College Student Nursing Association, Alexa has led efforts to engage nursing students in impactful community activities, such as supporting the Special Olympics, organizing the Walk for Down Syndrome and coordinating the NAMI Walk. Her initiatives also include fostering connections through annual events like Christmas cookie decorating, writing holiday cards for assisted living residents and hosting self-care and trivia nights.

Known for her compassion and positive attitude, Alexa has been a two-time nominee for the prestigious Raymond G. Hunthausen Outstanding Service Award, reflecting her commitment to both the Carroll community and beyond. Alexa has also been honored with the Montana Student Volunteer Award, a distinction presented by the Montana Campus Compact in partnership with the Governor’s Office of Community Service.
