  1. The Held vs. Montana trial in Helena is making history as 16 Montana youths take a stand about climate change. Many locals have been reacting to the trial, some agreeing and some against the plaintiffs. Tyrene Riedl, who works for Gardiner-based Yellowstone Wild, sees the effect of climate change and agrees with the youth that a "clean and healthy environment" is in the state's constitution. Meanwhile, Michael Russell, Montana's assistant attorney general, told the court that Montana's greenhouse-gas emissions will not make a difference to global climate change. (KTVQ)
  2. Helena City Commissioners recently approved allocating funds from the affordable housing trust fund to build affordable apartments on the northwest corner of Alice Street and Dorothy Street. The United Housing Partners, led by a Helena native, is spearheading the Twin Creek Apartments project. Construction could begin in September and phase one is expected to be completed in July 2025. (KTVH)
  3. Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks announced that everyone can fish for free in Montana over Father’s Day weekend! On Jun. 17-18, no license is required for fishing, but all other fishing regulations and rules with be in effect. Click here for current water restrictions. (Montana Right Now)
