- A local weightlifter is heading to the 2023 National Youth Championships later this month. Elizabeth Currier, 17, will compete at the event as part of USA Weightlifting Nationals Week in Colorado Springs. Currier qualified for nationals with a combined lift total of 112 kilograms. - The Helena Senators baseball team is gearing up for a road trip to Alberta, Canada, where they will play a three-game series. The team started off strong this season, winning fourteen games in a row, but has managed a 5-5 record in its last ten games. Despite the stall, the Senators have maintained a 20-5 record and are considered frontrunners for the state championship. (Montana Right Now)
- The Federal Communications Commission has released a new map to help Helena residents access high-speed internet. The internet coverage maps were guaranteed through the Infrastructure and Jobs Act, which secured more than $42 billion in grant funding. Of that funding, $4.2 billion has been allocated to help deploy broadband infrastructure to geographically challenged areas of Montana. (Montana Right Now)
