  1. The Community Medical Center (CMC) recently announced that it will be expanding its Heart and Vascular Clinic. The $17.9 million project will add 19,015 square feet to the current facility to help provide needed care for the growing community in Missoula. (KPAX)
  2. The Missoula City Council considered two housing proposals during its meeting on Monday. One proposal plans for 70 units along Scott Street as part of the city's goal to provide more permanent affordable housing options. The second proposal suggests using funding from the Affordable Housing Trust Fund to buy a mobile park with 28 households in the Frankly to Fort area to prevent it from potentially being redeveloped.   3. The Missoula Art Museum is hosting a retrospective called "The View from Here," which will feature work by artist Willem Volkersz that he produced over the last 25 years. A public meet-the-artist event and panel discussion will be held at the museum on May's First Friday on May 6. The exhibit will be available to view in Missoula from Mar. 3 through Jun. 10 before traveling to other museums throughout the Northwest. (NBC Montana)
