Missoula, Mont., tries innovative ways to reach functional zero for veteran homelessness (themunicipal.com) — Missoula is pushing to reach “functional zero” for veteran homelessness by November 2026, using Built for Zero funding, landlord outreach, and detailed local data. The city and partners have already housed 12 veterans in a recent drive and report steep drops in chronic and overall veteran homelessness, with more funds available through January 2026.
