Here are the top three stories in Missoula today:
- Missoula police have arrested and charged 30-year-old Katy Sutton and 36-year-old Ivan Prindel with felony burglary, felony theft, and four counts of misdemeanor theft. Prindel and Sutton allegedly stole about $24,000 worth of items from a Missoula business on Mar. 29. Police investigated the Missoula Electric Cooperative burglary and were able to identify Prindel and Sutton, who both confessed to the crime to police. (KYSS-FM)
- Minor flooding is still a concern through the end of today, Apr. 11, due to the recent mild temperatures. Minor flooding caused by increased runoff as well as rising rivers and streams is possible, especially if culverts become clogged. (NWS Missoula via Twitter)
- The Bureau of Land Management's Missoula Field Office has scheduled two open houses to discuss the management of its lands in the Lower Blackfoot watershed with the public. The public will also be able to give feedback and share their thoughts on the management of the land. The meetings are scheduled for Apr. 11 from 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Missoula Public Library and Apr. 12 at 5:30 p.m. at Hellgate Lions Park. (Montana Right Now)
